Chronic Granulomatous Disorder is a rare genetic illness that leaves an affected person much less able to fight infection.
It affects around one in a million people so there is a strong risk of affected people never being able to communicate with other sufferers for mutual support.
One feature of CGD is that sufferers are less able to fight off infections such as Aspergillosis
We hope that this discussion group will form a mutual support community consisting of people from all communities all over the world, so if you have CGD and suffer from Aspergillosis please join up and help us help everyone involved.
For information on CGD go to the website of the CGD Research Trust website at http://www.cgd.org.uk
For CGD people that have Aspergillosis there is a lot of help and support for this infection at the Aspergillus Website at http://www.aspergillus.man.ac.uk/patients
