Dance Base Spring Professional Development Program kicks off the New
Year with Angus Balbernie

'One Question' a workshop in choreography and composition
Sunday January 22nd 10.30am-5pm

How to 'become' an idea? What medium, what muscles, what obvious
energies should we use? We will work as both performers and
directors exploring our questions individually, in groups, and
composing material on each other. Please bring an important
compositional question. A workshop for developing choreographic
insight & confidence for all levels.

Angus Balbernie, director, teacher and occasional performer, teaches
composition and choreography internationally including for the
EDDC/Dance Academy in Arnhem and the Scottish School Of Contemporary
Dance. He has made has made over 60 works internationally, most
recently major productions at The Tobacco Factory, Bristol, where he
is Associate Artist.

Cost £35/£25. Bookings essential to secure a place.

This workshop series is for professional dance/movement artists,
students in training, physical performers, musicians interested in
collaborations with movers, and for community members who foster a
professional approach, interest and desire to exploring the moving
body.
