WELCOME TO THE NORDIC IMPROVISATION MEETING IN NORWAY 1 - 6 JUNE 2006

NIM is a gathering for contact improvisers with all kinds of backgrounds and
levels of experience. It is organised in the Nordic countries once to twice
a year. This meeting will be arranged as the sixteenth in the row, and its
focus will be on contact improvisation classes and jamming. You will find

The meeting will be held in the countryside at Vestoppland folkhighschool
(Hadeland), 7 miles (approx. one hour bus drive) from Oslo. There are single
and double rooms to sleep in, two dance spaces, an aikido room for warm-ups,
and a sauna. You will find more information about the premises on

This NIM is arramged in the Pinse/Pentecost weekend. The meeting will start
Thursday evening with supper and welcome jam, and end the following Tuesday
morning after breakfast.

The total fee of 125 euros/1000 NOK includes 3 vegetarian meals a day,
lodging and dancing. In order to participate at NIM you need to pay the
deposit, 65 euros/500 NOK before the 1st of May. This will secure your place
at the meeting.
