Subject: Ted Stoffer Workshop
An opportunity not to be missed for anyone interested in collaborating with
different art forms!
Ted Stoffer's workshop
From 27 May - 7 June, Dance City, the National Dance Agency for the North
East of England, offers an incredibly exciting workshop for students and
graduates to participate and work with Ted Stoffer, an American born dancer
and choreographer who has been working throughout Europe for the past 15
years.
Ted's workshop is part of Dance City's international festival, danciNG the
world, which takes place across Newcastle and Gateshead from 2 May - 1 June
2006.
We are looking for 30-45 participants from three artistic backgrounds:
Physical art: (dancers, actors, acrobats, street performers etc.);
Composer/performers/musicians: 10-15 participants; and Visual, video or
installation art: 10-15 participants.
Multi disciplinary groups are formed from the three art forms and
participants are asked to construct an integrated language in an audience
interactive environment. The starting point is the theme of impermanence and
their works-in-progress will be shown at the end of the workshop period.
The workshop fee is £50. Places are limited, to book a place or for more
information for this workshop please email
