Nordic Improdance Meeting (NIM)
The 17th meeting autumn 2006
the 31 Oct - 5 Nov
Tärna Folkhögskola (Sala), Sweden.
Welcome to NIM!
We hope that the NIM-meeting autumn 2006 will be a creative, relaxed,
structured and unstructured melting pot for the development of contact
improvisation and improvised expression in it¹s 10 years anniversary!
To support the creation of a structure for the meeting that satisfies as
many as possible, we would like to ask all of you who are coming to this NIM
to take some time already now to think about your ideas, intentions,
questions and desires around the staying together and the contact
improvisation- jamming, teaching, exchanging and performing.
Take a look at the questions in the end of this mail and send your answers
to us before the meeting.
Structure of the meeting
- Space for a lot of jamming.
- A led warm-up in the mornings.
- Introductions for new contact improvisers the first days.
- Study-labs in the afternoons with people responsible for structures.
- Time for doing and watching performing after dinner every night.
- Discussions in bigger and smaller groups.
- A schedule about all this formed when arriving/during the meeting.
- There will be what you add to the meeting.
