Present Moment 2006 launches the 7th Liverpool International Festival of Dance Improvisation (LIFDI) This evening’s performance features some of the most experienced dancers and improvisers from Europe including Pauline de Groot (Holland) Gaby Agis (UK)  Company Blu (Italy) HOOF and LIC (Liverpool) accompanied by musicians and sound artists unique in this field of improvisation.  Presented once again by Liverpool Improvisation Collective (LIC), who are Jo Blowers, Andrea Buckley, Paula Hampson and Mary Prestidge.

Saturday 25th November   Workshops  10 – 12 noon; Open Dancing/Jam 12.15 – 1.30; Lunch with Discussion 1.30 – 3.30 pm

Unity Theatre: Open House   7pm onwards
LIFDI continues with Open House, presenting an exciting array of improvised performances and events offered by participants of the festival.  There is also the opportunity to present your work through archive video and other documentation. The audience will be invited to promenade around the building including the two principal performance spaces and places in between. For participants wishing to perform in this event see details on the festival application form.

Sunday 26th November       Workshops 11 – 1 pm & 2 – 4 pm; closing circle 4 - 4.30pm  
 
Full weekend  (includes ticket for Present Moment and lunch on Saturday and Sunday) £50 & £35 concession
