A 12 hour performance of contact improvisation and study into performance boundaries of time/ space/ viewers/ performers will develop out of a 2 day workshop residency.

This workshop residency and performance event is part of Glasgow¢s Dance House Continuing Professional Development Programme.

We invite dancers/performers who have experience in Contact Improvisation & Improvisation as a performance form, to apply to participate in this residency and performance event.

During the residency participants will work on contact improvisation skills and on improvisation in performance, and explore the different intentions and elements inherent in the structure of the performance and the environment. The residency and the performance will be directed by Merav Israel with guest facilitator Karl Jay-Lewin.

Participants should be available throughout the 2 days residency and for the performance.
