Hello dancers,
I'd like to invite you to the
5th International Easter Impro Festival
3 - 9 April 2007
in Göttingen, Germany
see: http://www.osterimprofestival.de/OIF2007/en/index.htm
"This festival creates a unique platform for experiencing and
experimenting, for teaching and learning, for exchanging and coming
together. In intensives, workshops, labs, single lessons, spaces to
perform, a room for silence and bodywork, different jams and special
events, this festival offers spaces, where different artistic potentials
can meet in an alchemist process..."
Note: I am not one of the organizers, just an enthusiastic
participant...
I participated twice in the past two years and really enjoyed
- fascinating concentrated professional improvisation classes: dance,
music and art
- the energy of 150-200 dancers and improvising people
- performances of improvised dance almost every evening
- enjoying a big University swimming hall and sauna on two evenings just
for us dancers
- live improvised music
I tried to figure out how to get there (from Edinburgh) and back and how
much it will cost:
- 260€ participation fee incl. food and lodging (if booking before
March 1st, otherwise +30€)
- plus either:
- 70 - 100 Pounds - flight Edinburgh - Köln-Bonn - Edinburgh
- 150€ train Köln-Bonn - Göttingen - Köln-Bonn
- or:
- 220€ flight Glasgow - Hannover - Glasgow
- 60€ train Hannover - Göttingen - Hannover
- or for someone (max. 2 persons) coming with me in my car:
- 100 Pounds Ferry Edinburgh - Zeebrugge
- 30€ petrol
Other cheaper options may be possible...
(Note: There is a 30% discount for the SuperFastFerries if booking
before February 17th)
For more infos about how to get there please contact me!
(For more infos about the festival see website above)
Enjoy,
-Sebastian
