The performance will explore the colour, content and visual imagery in Bachelor’s work extending the perception andexperience of audience members to include movement, rhythm and the physical space of the gallery.Merav Israel grew up in Israel and has trained in contemporary dance, improvisation and somatic movement methods since1991 nationally and internationally. She received her BA (Dance) and Teachers diploma in Movement and Movement Notationfrom The Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance in 1997. Merav has created improvisational, choreographed and site specificwork in Israel and across Scotland.She is artistic director of LaNua – Movement and Improvisation. She is founder and collaborator of Edinburgh group, the Bakers.
