Contact improvisation and vacation combined . . . .
Comming back to summer and spend your time with wonderfull people on the
Canarien Islands.
In the sunny Valle Gran Rey we´ll be dancing contact for 2 ½ hours on 9
days. The rest of the time is open for your own interests, you do what ever
you feel like: hanging out with somebody, hiking, swimming, snorceling,
learning spanish, lay in the sun or take a boat to meet the Dolfins and
Wales.

THE LESSONS:
There will be 9 classes of 2 ½ hour of teaching. During 8 days the class
will be tought in a small dance studio in the village. One class will take
place on a daytrip with a car. In faszinating nature we´ll be dancing,
playing, exploring and improvising. In addition to that there is an open jam
planed for one night.

EXPERIENCE:
in contact is welcomed but not obligatory. If you have little experience
please call me before you register.

FOOD:
Every body does his/her own food. Costs for groceries are almost like in
Germany. A meal at a restaurant could be found for 5-7 Euro.

ACCOMMODATION.
Simple 2-bed rooms with the possibility to cook are included in the price.
The small, cosy pensions of the rooms are located in the Valley Gran Rey,
about 5-10 minutes. away fom the beach.

CONTACT IMOROVISATION:
Contact improvisation evolved out of the spirit of the 70ties in the USA.
Giving and taking bodyweight is one of the main interesst in this
improvisational dance.
The class is a combination of three important themes:
1. Bodywork to suport movability, strength, awareness
2. Contact Technic to widen the range of your personal movement possibilitys
in dances with partners
3. Improvisation, as a offer to integrate learned patterns and to arrive
deeply in the moment.

The sensibility for yourself and for others is being promoted. An atmosphere
of awareness and deep touch is created, in which you can truely arrive at
your inner self in that moment.
Everything that is happening here can be transfered to your daily life: your
prasenz, the way you interact with other people, your selfawareness a.f.m.

COSTS:
The price of the 10 day project inclued dance class and accommodation:
550 Euro before/ 620 Euro after October 5th
Please transfer 150 Euro when you do the booking.
If you withdrawl you can get your prepayment back if another participant can
be found.
The amount of participants is limited.
Participation on your own risk.

FLIGHT:
Everybody organizes his/her own flight to Teneriffa South.You can find last
minutes flights for 150 - 250 Euro, but you can book them only 10 -20 days
in advants. Regular flight cost about 310 -350 Euro from Germany.
