Facilitated by Miriam Keye with special guest Anne-Marie Culhane.
Open Space is your chance to come to our studio, meet with like-minded people, explore ideas, collaborate and learn from one another. We open up our dance space for an entire weekend for you to come together and explore aspects of improvisation.
Following on from the improv session in December, Miriam Keye, an artist many of you probably know already, formerly based in Leicester now in Cumbria, is supporting us in the initial stages of shaping this aspect of SHIFT. Miriam has a keen interest and strong experience in this area.
For this weekend artist and performer Anne-Marie Culhane will join Miriam during the day. This is a great opportunity to work with yet another experienced artist open to your questions and suggestions.
Anne-Marie is an artist, performer and creative catalyst working in response to specific environments and landscapes in urban and rural areas and wider ecological issues. Her work is rooted in a collaborative, sustainable and interdisciplinary approach.
Evening Jam with Live music!

£Free- voluntary contribution welcome
David Keye and Adam Farrah, two wonderful local musicians invited by Miriam, will join us at the end of the day to play live for this improv jam session. A great way to quick start our first Open Space event!
