7.-13.1.09: Dance of the organs


La Bonita – the beautifull - is another name for La Palma, one of the
most beautifull places on this planet. There we will explore, dance and
work for 3-5 hours per day in a inspiriering round pavillon
(www.body-mind-presence.de/gallery). The rest of the day we can spent on
the beach, or go hiking, mountainbiking, take a dolphin tour or just
hang out. The studio is also available for bodywork, single sessions,

1st week on La Palma, 31.12.08 - 7.1.09:
Less is more... cranio-sacro-fascial Biodynamics
... I trust my perceptions, relax into sensual presence and allow myself
to be surprised by the potential of the "free direction" (a fundamental
concept of ostheopathic work). The game of subtle movements and rythms
of the tissues and inspires my dance...
The focus of this seminar is -besides in the joy of being and moving- on
the cranio-sacro-fascial Corestructures:
- cranio-sacral rythm
- "And they do move" - Experienced Anatomy and Physiology
- "Fulcrum" the silent eye of the hurrican
- Palpation of subtle movements in the body Lauschstationen und
Stillpoints, oder wenn unsere Zellen meditieren

2nd week on La Palma, 7.-13.1.09:
Dance of the organs
Organs give us volume and weight; they support our outer form from
inside and have great influence on our emotions.
In this week week we will explore and enjoy the different qualities of
the organs and their connections and interactions, and learn the basics
of visceral osteopathy.
Previous knowledge is not needed!


Daniel Werner:
I teach CI since´97, and love to continuously discover new dimensions of
this amazing dance form on stage, in teaching and in the jam. I explore,
perform and teach in the field of contemporary dance, dance theater and
CI in productions and projects in Switzerland, Germany, Portugal and
Finland. Essential influences for my work come from Body-Mind Centering,
Release-Techniques and Asian Movement Arts. Besides working as a dancer
and choreographer, I study contemporary dance at the North Karelia
College in Finland.

JAgat:
Improvisation artist on all levels and a body therapist (Osteopathy,
Hawaiian Massage, BMC, TCM, Qi Gong), co-founder and organizer of the
Easterimprofestival. …my therapeutical/artistic work is a synthesis of
dance, music, body”work” (play) and satsang... There are many different
membranes or gates to our essence. In a dance, song, or treatment, these
membranes can become more permeable; gates can open easily and
playfully. The cells simply remember their "original" goal: to
communicate, to dance and to celebrate…"


*Certification:*
Participants will receive a certificate documenting the contents of the
education, to assist them with current or future employment
opportunities, and with justifying educational leave. The
Winter-Intensives are also valid as a module of the 2-Year-Training
starting in 2009.

Flight:
There are cheap flights available with Condor directly to La Palma, and
even cheaper with Ryanair to Tenerife South. Also check the web for
conditions from our home-country. It is possible to arrive before the
Seminar, and to depart later.

Housing:
25 €-40 € per night including breakfast, lunch snack and dinner, and a
little help in the kitchen.
