Dear Colleagues and dancer, musician friends!
 
We are happy to inform you that the KONTAKT BUDAPEST, IV. International Improvisation Festival will take place from the 3rd to the 11th of July 2005, in Budapest.
 
This year's festival offers different methods to work with the moving self (body awareness techniques), to study improvisation as well as contact improvisation from several directions and to investigate music and dance improvisation and it gives space to perform.
 
The festival welcomes beginners to explore movement, advanced movers to deepen their knowledge of improvisation, professional dancers to work on improvisation with the focus on performance and it invites musicians to research dance and music together and it offers opportunity to perform.
 
The program:

July 3: registration at 3 pm and festival opening at 6 pm (Artus Studio)
July 4-6 and 8-10: classes, workshops, jams, discussion (from 9:15 am to 11:30 pm)
July 7 and 10: performances from 8 pm
July 11: festival closing, jam and Gulyas lunch (from 11 am to 3 pm)
