The Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust is offering a rare
opportunity to walk part of the line of the Lichfield Canal on Sunday
22nd April 2007, between 10am and 4.30pm. The walk is for this ONE DAY
ONLY, as some of the route crosses private land and requires permission
from landowners. See sites which are being restored; visit the site of
the newly built canal culvert under Birmingham road; free minibus
return to the start; car parking is at Huddlesford Junction, by kind
permission of Lichfield Cruising Club, who are also providing
