Tardebigge Engine House
The Birmingham Post April 7th 2007 carried a sales advert by Andrew Grant regarding a number of property sales by Auction at Ombersley, Worcestershire 23rd April 2007.
The sale includes the former grade II listed engine house with planning permission to convert into a residence.
This building has been out of canal ownership for a number of years and has been converted to other purposes including, If I recall, a night club.
The original purpose of this structure, that stood near lock 57 (one lock below the top lock 58) was to pump water from the adjacent Tardebigge feeder Reservoir.
