English Heritage have now submitted their reccomendations to DCMS for
further action in the grading of the listing for this site. The crane
was not formely part of the listed structure and it is hoped the
outcome will be an upgrading of the site staus and inclusion of the
crane. No action seems to be forthcoming from Wolverhampton City
Council and emails re the site to Nick Hogben remain unanswered. WCC
can impose repairs to the site and charge EWS Railway if EWS do not
undertake maintenance, Currently the site continues to decay and is
still being used for parking of HGV trailers. This site is the last of
its kind to be complete and needs urgent preservation. Please voice
