Shown in the "Express and Star" tonight is a detailed impression of
the "canalside quarter" of Wolverhampton. Gone is the retaining wall
built when Telford straightened the BCN main line, gone to the iron
towpath bridge! So how accurate is this? I think we should all keep a
close eye on Wolverhampton City Council in the near future.
Wolverhampton hasnt been considerate to canalside premises and
heritage in the past, Albion mill and the Fellows & Co warehouses are
prime examples of hertiage lost.
