The Lichfield and Hatherton canals restoration is key to opening up
the Northern BCN and helping to reduce the pressure on adjoining
overcrowded waterways. This new DVD is presented and narrtaed by both
David Suchet OBE and Michael Fabricant MP. Not only does it present
the case for accessing the BCN from the north but also includes newly
discovered archive of the lost Cannock Extension to Hednesford.
Running at 110 minutes the film is split into 5 sections and includes
the full original film "missing links" made in 2001. As a bonus the
rarely seen "This is history" also narrated by David Suchet is added
as a bonus, this short film details how the push for PPG13 was
executed to help canal restorations nationwide. On sale at the NEC
