Many thanks for the information. I will look that one up.

I wonder what happened to the cast iron bridge over the entrance to
the basins ? It was there for a long time after the basins were
drained but then disappeared when they were infilled. They wouldn't
have buried them on site would they ? Sacrilege. It should be in a
museum.
