Im looking for indoor "carbootsale" somewhere around Bristol & Bath. Im
interesting about place, witch will be open during autumn and winter. thanks a
lot for any info!!!
You beat me to it I was planning to add this one today :)
We went on the 2nd week that this was open and there were only 3 or 4 sellers there but I think It will pick up now that Southwick has finished for the year, a lot of the traders fro Southwick have said they will be going to Westbury.
Entry for buyers is free but you can make a donation (i think its for charity?). Ive been told it will be on all year round on both Saturdays and Sundays.

As this is a new venue,I hope they will make it permanent, But to continue they will need buyers & sellers support,
Best Wishes, Pam

Trench Lane B/S finished last Sunday (27th). They are only allowed to hold 20 a
year so that will now be it until June next year. The only regular one is
Cheddar. Rgds.

There's a car boot sale at Norton RFC, Norton Down Playing Fields, Silver St.,
Midsomer Norton BA3 2UE on Sunday 16 August, also 23 August. Sellers from 8am
buyers from 9am. It's £5 a car and 50p to get in.
I'm sorry too that I had to charge for you to see all the information about car boots on www.carbootsRus.com. Initially, finding information about car boot sales was a labour of love. Now, there is so much information, I can spend several hours collecting and collating it all and enhancing the facilities on the site - eg the map / postcode details.
There was only a small, very small, income from people clicking through and buying through the adverts.
I, therefore, made the decision to either stop running it or to make a minimal charge for visitors to view all the information. The cost of two or three pints (a year). If my website saves you one hour a year, it's paid for itself. I will even search for details for you!
In addition, I usually post information here about your local car boots eg Trench Lane and Keynsham. You don't have to visit www.carbootsRus.com but it does have extra stuff like links to maps and contact details, so, obviously, I hope you will.
It's a pity that this website has chosen to make it a pay-to-see website as this was always a great resource for finding out where car boot sales were taking place.
I will once again try to check the local press for information or look on other websites for the details and post them here as I have done in the past for the Bristol and local areas.

Hi, anyone on Wiltshire/Somerset near Trowbridge will be glad to hear that the
Ashton Common boot sale just outside of Trowbridge has now started.
This car boot is pretty unique as its free to set up and sell (they come round
with a bucket and you can choose to donate to their chosen charity if you wish -
I believe it is for Cancer Research)
They charge buyers for entry I think it was 25p per person last year.
It was a brillinat boot sale last year but unfortunatly wasnt on much due to the
weather as although they have a big field it gets very boggy after lots of rain
and takes quite a while to dry out, after a while they did manage to find
another field for it but by then the season was almost over.

See you there!

This was on last Sunday (14/06/2009) and should be on this Sunday (21/06/2009) .
I went as a seller for the first time last week. Arriving at 7am is a good time as it's just starting to fill up with the odd buyer here and there.
I was bombarded with questions very early on when setting up my stall, asking if we had jewellery, power tools, perfume, designer sunglasses and lego! If you are selling these items I would tell these people "No" and wait til things get busy later on as you are more likely to get better offers from someone else!

Hi
This car boot was on last Sunday 3 May so I think it will be on every Sunday
now. We drove past at around 9.30am and it was in full swing with a good crowd.
Looked like there were a lot of sellers there as well as buyers.
The car boot at Trench Lane restarts this Sunday 3 May. Full details are in my
www.carbootsrus.com on the Somerset page. There's also a write up, again full
details, in the Bradley Stoke Journal
http://www.bradleystokejournal.co.uk/tag/car-boot-sale/ with an excellent map
link.
As far as I'm aware it started on Easter Sunday so should be in full swing now.

Hi all, I attended Whitchurch yesterday. Just to let you all know there will be
a car boot there Good Friday, Saturday AND Easter Monday then every Saturday
thereafter. Happy Booting!!!!
I have just been informed that the Bath Racecourse car boot starts at Easter and
the one at Whitchurch Sports Centre starts this week. Full details are on
www.carbootsrus.com but I'm afraid there is a small donation needed to view the
full details.

I have phoned Steve on the number Rachel sent me and he can tell me that he is
having trouble getting permission from Bristol Council. Steve would like
everyone interested in Whitchurch Car Boot to phone Bristol Council on 0117
9222000 saying that they have been to Whitchurch on Saturday and there were
loads of cars but no boot sale - what is happening? Hopefully they will then
stop dragging their heels and the car boot will start again.
