I have phoned Steve on the number Rachel sent me and he can tell me that he is
having trouble getting permission from Bristol Council.   Steve would like
everyone interested in Whitchurch Car Boot to phone Bristol Council on 0117
9222000 saying that they have been to Whitchurch on Saturday and there were
loads of cars but no boot sale - what is happening? Hopefully they will then
stop dragging their heels and the car boot will start again.

Does anyone have any idea when the first car boot sale is for the above venues??

I think the Frenchay Hospital one may be in April so if it's the same as in
previous years it would be on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

I really miss that car booter (The Big Boot)
It was a good reason to get up early every sunday morning and with the
early start
I made the best of the day - even drove to the cheddar one after it..
Is there a contact on the council who we could ask to see what car
booters are still
operating? or any plans for another one to replace that one?

Do they realise they killed of a really friendly community :(

just wondered if there was any truth in it.

I know this is a way to go, but I've been there and it's worth the
journey.  It's a car boot come market and has a barn selling
collectables (not quite antiques).  Has spaces indoors and outdoors.

staunton manor farm, whitchurch bristol. starts 9 til 1.
