Brilliant! I was so excited that this movie held true to the original series while still managing to be a unique film on it's own. All of the actors did a terrific job. Particularly impressed by Quinto and Yelchin, but all were very true to the original actors mannerisms and voice patterns.

In lieu of everything, Wolverine is passable as summer fun full of exciting fights and explosions. If it weren't for the blatantly lethargic screen writing, this could've been a better film.

Average Cliche. Average acting, average plot, predictable story. So it had a few funny moments - that doesn't make up for the fact that it is just like every other romantic comedy.
|

|
Umpteenth variation on Fatal Attraction is hilarious as unintentional comedy. The lazily written script has Derek, the main character, behaving in idiotic ways that will have you shouting at the screen.

Let's face it-- we've always thought as Star Trek as a guy thing. From the miniskirt Enterprise uniforms on the original series to the bromance among Spock, Kirk and McCoy and the stereotype of the Trek fan living in his mom's basement, the universe of Star Trek seems to be limited to the egghead boy who identifies more with Spock's pursuit of logic than Han Solo's hotheaded galaxy adventures.
