Not exactly sure what your asking there. You can record changes to
your Combinator patches into a song & those Combinators can obviously
included any device you wish to put in (apart from other
Combinators). So you can set up your bass & beat Combinators with
different patterns either programmed into a Matrix or the ReDrum.
Then you can either create sequencer tracks for these pattern devices
so you can record the pattern changes into the sequencer/arrangement.
Or you can assign the pattern buttons to a Combinator Rotary control
& change them that way. The later method is a bit hit & miss if you
start using big numbers of patterns. It's better to set the range of
the rotary to something like 1-8 (do this in the Combinator
programmer). I'm hoping that the Prop's add an optional 'notch' mode
to the rotary controls so that it's more accurate to select patterns
when they are assigned to the pattern based devices or any control
that requires switching from one setting to another.

i want to use only combinators: 1 for base line another 1 for Beat... and i whanna know if i can use them in patern for song arrangement...
