Not released yet & not many details at the moment but I reckon this
upcoming Reason 3 reworked Proton Refill will definitely be worth
keeping an eye on.

Reason banks approach to Reason Refill's use raw sampled waveforms as
the basis for each patch. These are then manipulated using the NN-XT's
synth parameters to create amazing sounding patches of all kinds from
the raw sampled material. This approach also means that Refill sizes
are kept fairly small as it doesn't require a large amount of sampled
material for every individual patch! Ingenious (why didn't I think of
that!), simple but very impressive results.
