Ahh!! where have i been all this time? have i just woken up?
Fairtrade Theatre comes to town on 24 February, a Saturday at St
Mary's Church Old Town High Street Hemel Hempstead. There will be two
performances, a matinee at 3pm, and an evening 8pm performance.
i have posters, printed tickets and flyers to send out.
It's actually a play all about slavery becuase this year is the
Bicentenary of the abolition of slavery. But it's very much tied into
the theme of Fairtrade and i've booked them to open the Fairtrade
Fortnight for Hemel Hempstead.
Can Mike Penning make it to either of these performances on the
Saturday, 3pm or 8pm? the show is an hour long but it will be quite
interesting as i've been told the the show's producers are inviting
the audience to get involved with the setting up of a fairtrade
initiative.
More details will follow in the press release and file attachments i'm
posting to this message board under Files.
Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW! and are only £6.00 or £4.00 concessions.
And although i havn't even started yet i suppose i'll do the usual run
of supermarket tastings.
By the way, WATFORD is to become officially a fairtrade town this
march. Annoying that isn't it? Because we are still trying to sort it out.
Please let everyone you know about this show and get back to me for
buying tickets
Regards
Francois
