Val,
The group are getting together to discuss the progress
of the event planning. Yes i got your logo thanks and
i'll tell Marion that we will include your
contribution on posters and so forth. I think we all
need to see drafts before they go out.
i posted a rough outline onto the files uploaded
section of the yahoogroup, but this only has the
fairtrade foundation logo on it, so it's not for
general release, really more an A5 format so i could
hand out to a few friends.
I've been so busy the last two days not had a chance
to call companies to get bits and pieces for the prize
draw thing. Need to write some catchy competition
stuff for the editors to include in the paper. You
were going to get me the name of your ladies in PR
weren't you? so we could proof it.
The latest idea on my mind and regarding your reply is
i want to get hold of somebody with a juicing machine.
If i can look up some independant traders that go to
market fairs and make those refreshing drinks from
fresh fruit and veg, why then no reason why we can't
use Co-Op fruit and veg to make them with. I'm sure
they'll have their own insurance since that's the
business they'll be in. Now where to get hold of them?
What do you think? good idea? (looks smug)
You never know it might even work with dried fruit in
from tropical wholefoods company. You could give the
traders a 10% discount so they can buy a whole load of
fruit and/or juices so they can sell a range. i'll
have to find the right trader though and proposition
them. i could ring around the local schools, hmm
rudolph steiner are hot on this thing, there's a local
school nearby, they might have some contacts.
Especially as i'm down on the list to do their spring
market for Oxfam.
i'm on the case and hoping to have some results by
monday.
Er this is turning into a big email so ...i'll read up
on what you said and if i have any other idea's i'll
get back to you.
Regards
Francois
