DacFT : Message: Something that may be of use

Hi, I've just joined the DacFT group, but I have been sort-of involved for a while because I am Catherine Turner's husband.

You may not know, but the BBC has started a 'campaigns' subsystem on its website, called iCan, which aims to publicise local campaigns and bring together people with similar interests. You need to register (at http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ican/) and then you can access and create local issues-based campaigns. I have provisionally set up one for DacFT, using the descriptive text from the Yahoo group. It will be informative to see whether you are able to find and join this campaign on iCan (which will test the value of the BBC site). Please let me know.

I will also update our company website (www.TurnerProjects.co.uk) to point useful people to the DacFT group.

I'm sure I will get to meet many of you in the Marlowes.
