Sandeep Bhai,

Thank you for writing the article and informing the public about the possible terrorist encounter to be staged by the UP police.

The police are to blame for extra judicial  killings but major blame goes to the national media for applauding not only the terrorist encounters but also how many terrorist one police officer killed during his life time.

This eulogization obviously affects others on the police forces and pressures them to copy such behaviour. Instead of applauding the police the media should ask questions about these encounters and ask whether any judicial inquiry was conducted to verify the claims by the police officers.

We are in a state of denial that lawlessness exists in the police and intelligence agencies in India. The media is in greater
state of denial that the law enforcement agencies follow the constitution of India and apply it fairly and justly to all whom they
prosecute.
