Hello everyone. My name is Jessica and I am mother to a six year old
boy with aspergers syndrome, a 4 year old girl and I've another little
boy due in march. We are in the Nottingham area. I started
home-schooling my son in september after years of problems at school.
We're enjoying the experience and gaining alot from it. It would be
great to talk to others with simillar experiences.
Hello! I just wanted to let people know about a program available for
elementary age children. You can find it at www.kesterbraille.com
Thanks for your interest. :)

Hi, I'm Susan. I have a 10 year old aspie grandson who my daughter
started to home educate but her ex changed his mind and the boy is back
in school for the moment while the courts decide what is best.
Not too far away in Co Antrim. Only a short hop on the plane and
cheaper to get to than London. I have done it for £15 return to Bristol.
I would be very interested in your experiences of home education with
as AS child.

Home Education - Where to start
Okay
I think the time has come to remove youngest child from school.
He is almost 6 and has various problems including Unilateral Hearing
Loss, Asperger's Syndrome (high Functioning Autism), and Attention
Deficiency, as well as some physical needs. His present school are not
coping although they claim they are.
Where do I start, and what do I need.
I know I need to inform his head teacher and the LEA.
But what basic resources do I need.
I am at my witts end does anybody know if it is possible to get home
schooling written into a statement and if not is there anywhere that
can cope with the bright side of kids with Aspbergers.
Yours,
Adam
