Description
What is Diovan?
Diovan is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Diovan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow.
Diovan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) or heart failure. It is also used to reduce the risk of death after a heart attack.
Diovan may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.
