Re: [HeritageElectricRailwayOrganisation] Saturday 12th January   Message List

Hello.

First of all may I wish everyone receiving this message, either on a group or as an individual, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I do hope that everyone on the groups has voted on whether they can attend or not; we do have a possible location, but do need to know the numbers.
Also, it may sound a bit daft, but if you are on more than one of the four groups this is being sent to, please only vote on one of them :-)
See message below for the groups.

If you are receiving this as an individual, [Bcc] please let me know if you can or cannot attend as well.

The date is Sat 12th January and it could be the start of cooperation between EMU groups, as well as the start of work that will end in battery operation pending future electrification of a preserved line.

Regards, and once again, do have a very Merry Christmas.

Albert

Subject: [HeritageElectricRailwayOrganisation] Saturday 12th January

Hello.

Once Christmas and the New Year is out of the way and following some interesting discussions that have been going on, it has been decided to hold a meeting to discuss all the aspects of electrification of preserved lines, battery operation of preserved EMUs and after all that [or maybe before] hold the usual EMUPS members' EGM.

Please make a note in your diaries; the exact times and the venue is yet to be arranged, and will depend on the numbers attending. The venue will be in the London or South East area.

A poll will go out on this group; Please vote if you will be free and able to attend. If you have received this email directly, not via a group, please email back if you can or cannot attend.

Thanks, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Albert.
