Gang, after talking to Melissa and from other feedback, we have agreed to go ahead with a 5 weekend league but will keep the option of a 6th club as a reserve in case we scrub a weekend in advance. For 2007, LGC will act as the 'reserve' club, going forward we will rota all the other clubs to be the reserve.
For this system to work, we need to take a view on the likelihood of a weekend being soarable a few days in advance...and then be able to communicate with our teams quickly. This will mean a decision being made on say the thursday evening....clearly if there is a reasonable chance of some soaring, we will go ahead....but if the most it looks as though we could get out of a weekend is a late clearance etc, we will deploy the reserve. I suggest we discuss this at HB and agree the practicalities.
So below are the 5 dates to share with your teams...and make them aware there may be a sixth date if (by any small chance) we have a scrubbed leg.

If Dunstable want a weekend, then that will make 6......which is quite a lot and might cause a struggle with getting teams.....we have a number of options
1) Go ahead with all 6 w/e as some might be lost due to rain?...exepct that not each wekend will get a full turnout
2) For each team only count the top (say) 8 days points (we scored days last year rather than weekend, and I have no negative feedback)
3) Put in place a rota for which team misses out each year...rota to cover all 6 clubs
