New Rules - Bringing All the Threads Together

Dear All

Thanks for spotting my deliberate mistake Chris - just checking everyone was
reading the new rules carefully!

During the conversation at HUS it was definitely a case of "OR" and the rule in
relation to the move for a pilot from Novice to Intermediate was having competed
in 2 or more Regionals. This was to stop someone who had only done one or two
days of their first Regional and perhaps realised it was a bit beyond them, not
to suddenly be classified as an Intermediate. I think with the 2 Regionals or
more rule, we have no need for the extra year?

Chris

So, if you have done a 750 or finished in the top half of a national you are a pundit if you have done a 300 or competed in 2 regionals you are an intermediate...

Wouldn't this be better in reverse to illustrate that pilots of lower experience may always move up a class as required or wished. This is how the original...

Hi Russell, I think the ORs should be ANDs in the clauses. As for the rest, it works for me. Julian...

Hi Julian They have to be OR's otherwise, as an example, a pilot who never enters Regional's will always remain a Novice even if he/she flies a 1000km as ...

Sorry Russell - I agree with Julian's logic, based on the fact your rules have ORs as well as NOTs. So by your rules below, for example, anyone who has NOT...

How about putting an "either" in the sentence instead.... An intermediate is someone who has flown either a UK 300km or more than 2 Regionals. A pundit is...
