Quick update on this.
Since I sent the previous mail, the PR company, who are employed by FRU,
have been in touch again to sound me out as a possible candidate for interview.
I made it very clear that, strictly speaking, although I left in '65, I had
jumped ship early and should have left in '66 or even '68. He didn't think
that was an issue as they are really more interested in the general time rather
than a specific year, so we'll see what happens. I'll let you know.
Alan, strange you mention FRU, I did point out quite clearly that the
contacts, and in part, the numbers at the reunion, were due to e-mail's from
assorted oldies because of FRUs reluctance to send 'spam.' I think the point was
noted. I perhaps should have mentioned this group as well, as they are possibly
totally unaware of it's existence and the contacts that flow through it, if I
get another chance I'll make sure it's known about.
If anyone else wants a chance to stick their opinions in, be quick, the
article is going to be in The Times on Monday 15th.
Watch this space
Cheers,
Keith
