Hi Alan. You posted this note in January, but I don't recall any updates. I
assume the reunion is still on for the date mentioned, but I fear that lack of
the sort of publicity we had last time around may have an adverse effect on the
day.

I will certainly be there and I know of two or three others that will also
attend, so hopefully the place will be crowded again.

Would you give us all an update please.

I had a chat with Mike Tucker yesterday. The date for the 50th anniversary of
the current school is Saturday 4 November 2006.

He's had some great ideas for the day's programme including trying to get a
senior Labour politician (definitely not Ruth Kelly) to commemorate Hugh
Gaitskill's 1956 speech.

He's also in the process of having the school's web site revamped.

As more details become available I'll let the group know.
