At last, I have the information we have been awaiting from the schools
catering manager. This is it:-

Lunch Menu for 6th September 2008

Shepherds Pie (or Vegetarian Shepherds Pie) with Savoy Cabbage and
Glazed Carrots. Desert Apple Crumble & Custard

Cost inc VAT £7 per head Minimum 100 units This means we have to
commit to some £700. I am happy to part underwrite this and others
have offered to join me.

So here is my suggestion - Because we need to know how many will attend
lunch well ahead of the date, why do we not start selling tickets at
£10 per head? I am sure we could get the Elliott Supporters (formerly
PTA) involved and let them have whatever money is left over. I suspect
that some will even send a cheque with a bit more attached, further
boosting their balance.

Can I have some quick thoughts on this and if it looks good, then I will
contact the Elliott Supporters.
