I finally found this group after searching from Friends Reunited,
just got the hang of signing up tonight.
I have almost no memory of schooldays, either Riversdale or Elliott.
I did launch myself off a trampette at the Elliott to a great height,
then came down headfirst, this might explain the problem. Falling off
a few motorcycles probably did not help either!
We lived at Earlsfield when I went to Riversdale, then moved to
Mitcham, I had to take three buses to get to school, which meant that
I had no close-living school mates.
The sites have brought back a few names from the past; Andy, did you
live above a shop (Co-op?) in Southfields?
I have a copy of the school photo of 1958 which features on this
board and F.R., if I can find others I will send them to Andy.
