It is becoming clearer that the world is facing an energy crisis, one on a scale never seen before. The main cause of this revolves around the idea of 'Peak Oil' (www.peakoil.net), that when half the oil in the world is extracted, we will see a permanent decline in oil supply, most importantly cheap oil supply, and consequently a permanent fall in the energy entering our economic systems supporting our life and the world as we, in the UK, know it.
