This bird Group was established one year before (9^th December, 2006) to share the bird conservation issues of Nepal and surroundings. Till today, 106 members from Nepal (majority), India, UK, Japan, USA, Pakistan, UAE and Canada are participating in this groups (this is based on their profile if they mentioned country). All are from different professional background (NGO, GO, Media, Scientist, Sociologist, Environmentalist, Forester, trans-boundary biodiversity expert, Students, tourism entrepreneurship and bird lover as well)

What is inside this group?

-          158 message related to nature (specially focusing on birds)

-          44 links related with fund, support, birds organization( national and international)

-          31 file (journal paper, policy paper, article, bird checklist of different part of Nepal, conservation program documents etc)

-          Results of open pool (two)

o        Why BBC Nepali services only disseminate about Rhinoceros not about birds?

o        Why bird conservation in Nepal is neglected by the government?

-          10 different members were permanently bane from the group because of sharing of sex related message and link

-          Photographs of Cheer Pheasant and Himalayan Griffon
