Re: [Ethnoornithology] Call for papers - Pan African Ornithology Conference 2008

Dear Yilma, Talatu & Wanyoike,

Thanks so much for submitting, or for Wanyoike - preparing to submit, abstracts for the PAOC. I'll be travelling from tomorrow so will most likely be in the air when the new deadline passes but will check in with Doug (to whom I've cc'd this note) when I get on the ground.

I'm glad to see your interest in this topic and I'm really looking forward to a wonderful ethnoornithology session at PAOC. This would bring us to a total of 9 presenters.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries.

Cheers and best and see you in Cape Town in September!

Dear Bob,
Thanks for the information. The presentation list for
PAOC12 looks very interesting indeed. I would like to
participate and would like to present a paper. I would
like to present a paper entitled "Hornbills for Heros:
Socio-culture, perceptions and conservation of Ground
Hornbills in Central Rift Valley of Ethiopia".

I will write the abstract asap and send it both to you
and Doug, if that is ok. Thanks.

regards,
Yilma
