I am a senior professional transitioning from a career in adult training, marketing communications, and technical writing to pursue a lifelong interest in nature, art, and the added dimension of studying world faiths that celebrate human symbiosis with nature (Asian traditions). I am learning that this study falls under the umbrella of "ethnobiology" and "ethnoecology" studies. I have begun my studies with bird biology, and I will find the ethnoornithology expertise in your group to be a wonderful enhancement to these studies.
