More birds in LOTE (Languages other than English)

Through the agency of the Mr Jevgeni Shergalin and his posts on the
Yahoo group Birds in Russia (see:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/BirdsinRussia/?yguid=291132901)
comes the advice that:

"Mr. Askar Isabekov from Kazakhstan has launched the project "The
Birds of Tajikistan".

The project "Birds of
Tajikistan" has opened. The project is large and therefore its
development is
carried out step by step. For the present only the base information
and the
photos of birds are published on the pages of species. Only pages of
three
species - White-capped
Redstart, White-winged
Woodpecker and Wire-tailed
Swallow are completely ready. It is planned to add the texts and other
materials to the rest pages within several months.

Unsure of there is much, or any ethnoornithological material but there
may be opportunities for that to be included in the future.
