Hi Bron,
I've managed to understand what it said: "stesura".
It means "the writing".
"Overnight sensation at Cannes last year as the protagonist of "Une
Vieille Maîtresse", the film by Catherine Breillat based on the novel
by Barbey d'Aurevilly, the 27 year old became for the French press the
new Louis Garrel. While waiting for a new role, he devoted himself to
the writing of a script of a film about a serial killer."
