Hallo,

Also kleiner als
London.
Deutschland?

15 - 21 Dec. '08: Deutscher Weihnachtsmarkt on Parker's Piece, 11am - 8pm

For the 1st time a German Christmasmarket has come to Cambridge, right next to the ice rink:
around 20 stalls with handmade arts, crafts, sweets etc.

Really nice things to adore and to buy: eg: you can get a slice of a 1 meter long German Stollen!
Most of the traders have come all the way from Germany.
Daily until Sunday 21st December- they close between 8 and 9pm, depending on how many people are around.
Venue: Parke's Piece, next to the ice rink with café Cambridge city.

I guess, that unless more people will come and buy things, the stall holders will not come back again. So PLEASE spread the word !

Dear Mr Nimmann,

Whilst researching a requirement on behalf of one of my clients I came across your interesting website and felt that you may be able to assist me.

I work for the Cambridge branch of Hays Construction and Property, the largest recruitment agency in the UK. One of my clients is a German firm who promote the use of sustainable and eco-friendly, carbon zero architecture. They have recently opened their first international branch, in Cambridge and are seeking a German speaking Project manager for a role which includes regular travel to Germany.

I am writing to you to ask if you would know of anyone, through your extensive local connections, who would be interested in the opportunity which I have outlined below:

A flexible Project Manager with extensive experience of the Construction industry will be offered a job with an award winning design firm, producing high spec, ecologically friendly, timber-framed buildings.

The role involves supporting customers during the entire construction phase from concept design to completion. The position requires close co-ordination with the German design and sales team and therefore suitable candidates will be fluent German speakers. Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is essential as the company prides itself on very high levels of customer service, relying on strong referrals and excellent reputation.

This is an outstanding opportunity to take a key role in the small UK team of a pioneering, socially responsible and well established German brand. The jobholder will be given access to exciting, high specification projects which are regularly subjected to the public eye and attract a large amount of international acclaim.

This role offers the opportunity of regular travel to Germany, including a period of initial high quality residential training and so candidates must be willing to travel extensively.

Suitable candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

· German speaker

· Full UK driving license

· Excellent client interaction skills

· Experience of working within construction, preferably for a contractor

· Design experience ideal but not essential

· Residential experience

· Passion for ecology and technology

Benefits:

· Salary of £40,000 - £45,000

· Company car

· Fuel card

· 20 days holiday

· Stakeholder pension

· Extensive training and development

Any assistance that you can give me in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Andrew Archer

Hope to meet you soon!

Viele Grüße,

Kerstin und Familie
