I have to say one of the things I love most about Garbo, aside from
her talent and beauty, is her laugh. It's kinda hard to really
describe why, but I'll try. The first time I heard her laugh I
remember thinking it it not match her silver screen persona, (not in a
bad way). What it made me feel was that she was real and still alive.
It, to me, is a girl next door laugh, a real person. Her laugh is
perhaps a hint of who she really was or wanted to be. Not a Hollywood
film factory worker. She suddenly is not the siver screen beauty
who "Wahnts to be alone"
I do adore and admire many of classic Hollywood's actress, but for
some reason her laugh somehow talks to me. What do you think? Am I
totally alone in this? Am I off base?
