Apparently Grace from the Yahoo Silent Film group has left the group
without giving any reason why.

If for any reason something similar does come up, please write to me
with any reason there might be- the group has been fairly slow and I
would rather get something off-topic than have to erase the name of a
member.

To be honest, there was a rift in the Silent Film group between Grace
and DPB. DPB is very visible on the internet because of his fantastic
website and a value to the study of silent film- Grace is the
moderator of one of the scant yahoo groups where people can exchange
ideas.

My being owner of two three group only came about because people like
Grace gave me moderator spot and Nessa so far has been fantastic, the
only thin is if you ask to leave the group, she will approve it
before I happen to see it and write to ask why.

Most of all, thank you members of the group that don't have time to
write, but continue to let mail messages pile up. There's no
possibility that my group is the only group someone is going to join
and the mail does have to be answered. None of the members of this
group have been sending that much unsolicited (way off topic) letters
that I right now know about.

Do you have a favorite Silent Film, not necessarily a Greta Garbo? If
so, and if you feel like beginning a thread on anything else,
Elizabeth Taylor for example, or Grace Kelly then please Post to the
group. I'll approve any webpage written by a group member on film and
if it doesn't post its only because Nessa might not think its on
topic.
