Thanks. 38 DP seemed logical with all those multiples of 19, and the fact that 25:50 is only marginally off on the 1" pitch.
I am going to use meccano gears on some prototype G gauge locomotives. Well stocked with an assortment of gears, to go with my long owned meccano set, and we will see. Watch this space.
