The Group consists of local Cycle Campaigners, Advocates and Activists concerned to improve and enhance the Cycling Environment in the Greater London Borough of Havering and further afield.
We aim to achieve a Cycle-friendly Road Network for Riders of all ages and abilities by the use of both on and off-road facilities where appropriate.
The adoption of good practice in the Design & Implementation of Cycle-friendly Infrastructure is especially keenly sought through liaison and dialogue with the Local Highway Authority, Press and Public alike as well as other associated agencies.
The Group also recognises the importance of providing adequate secure Cycle-parking and domestic Storage and integration of Cycle-use with Public Transport to achieve its aims.
