Dear Sir / Madam Carriageway Defects Please see attached photos of Carriageway Defects on Hornchurch Road at Junction of Albany Road & Park Lane, Hornchurch. There are about seven in total. Debris in Central Turning Lane As you know, I have reported for several years the poor cleaning of the turning lane in Rainham Road at the junction of Nelson Road & Blacksmiths Lane. The problem still persists. Can a conclusive action plan be devised to keep this section of Carriageway clear? Missing Bollard The plastic illuminated Bollard in A125 Rainham Road at the junction of Victory Rd is missing. I noted this several days ago, so it may already have been reported and replaced. Weakened Tree The attached photo. shows a leaning Tree in Nelson Road, S Hornchurch, approx. half-way along. Entrance to Harrow Lodge Park At the northern entrance to the Harrow Lodge Park shared-use Cycling & Walking Path in Albany Road, wooden Bollards have been installed. Presumably, the intention is to discourage Motorcycle abuse of the path, but this is futile because there are wider gaps at either end -- through which a Motorcycle can easily pass! The arrangement is a nuisance to Cycle-users, but there was no prior consultation with Cycling Representatives. Could the above items please receive attention at the earliest convenience. Thank you in anticipation, Regards David S Garfield (Acting StreetLeader: Lamb's Lane South, Rainham) |
