Dear Right to Ride reps

The DSA is holding a series of events to coincide with their new consultation paper, Learning to Drive.  This paper outlines changes to the driving test, learning process, instructor training process, and options for further training.

You can download the consultation paper here:

http://driving-tests.gov.uk/Documents/Consultation/ltd/FINAL%2020080508.pdf

There’s also a special website that’s been set up for the consultation events:

http://learningtodrive.dsa.gov.uk/pages/home

The remaining consultation events are:

Manchester 15 July
Brighton 21 July
Newcastle 29 July
Glasgow 12 Aug
Inverness 19 Aug
Croydon 28 Aug
Exeter 2 Sept

CTC would like to have representatives at these events.  If you’re interested in attending, or have any further questions, please send us an email.  We’re happy to provide guidance on policy, talking points, etc.

Kind regards

Debra Rolfe
